I just recently earned my master's degree from the University of Texas in Exercise Physiology, and work in an orthopedic clinic setting as a trainer. I also assist with local youth sports in my area. I love what I do, but after graduating, I realized that I missed participating in academics. Education has always been a big part of my life, partly because both of my parents are educators, and that's why I decided to become a tutor. I have a strong foundation in science, especially biology and chemistry, but I also enjoy math as well. I even took extra statistics classes for fun! Working with a helpful tutor who understands and enjoys the subject is key for success, which is something I know firsthand from my own experiences with tutors. I want to help students find their love of learning for the sake of knowledge, not just because it's required. I also know that not every student learns the same way, so I utilize a number of different methods and tactics to make the process of learning enjoyable. When I have free time, I like to hang out with my friends and family, try out new and interesting restaurants in the Dallas area, or crash on the sofa with my dogs.
