I try to make math fun by making the student understand how the concept is applicable to their own lives to get beyond the thought of "I'm never going to use this... why do I need to waste my time?". I also help the student make connections to build a stronger math foundation. For higher level math courses, I can teach the student tricks of the trade for utilizing technology, while also understanding the how and the why behind the concepts being taught.
