I've been blessed with strong academic support throughout my life which has lead to amazing opportunities. I want to share that gift with my students. I'm passionate about what I study, and I believe that learning should be fun. I led literature and writing classes for three semesters while still in high school, and I taught ACT prep for one semester. I have volunteered weekly as an after school homework helper through the St. Vincent de Paule Society's StudyTime program. I spent the Spring 2017 semester studying abroad in Rome. I have been a staff writer for the university newspaper since fall of Freshman year, and I worked as an editor last summer. My academic writing has appeared in the school's scholarly journal.
